Sephiroth is a fun reference, it beats Angra Mainyu (Zoroastrian evil spirit) in FFX-2 but they called another monster Ahriman (another name for Angra Mainyu) so they lose points there.
Um, yes. Sorry, I think the mythological references cropping up in things (like FF) are amusing. Some are well thought out (like the Sephiroth, the ten emanations of God/tree of life in the Kabbalah) others are not (like Angra Mainyu/Ahriman). ^_^;;;;

All the banners have a height of 120 pixels.. so if you submit one that is less than that, it will be enlarged to that size. If it's larger, it will be reduced. Sometimes it makes them not look so cool (especially huge ones with text.. sometimes the text is hard to read when it's shrunk)

The longest one thats there now (xmas-05) is probably the longest any of them should be, if that makes any sense. I dont know exactly how long it is, but I know that on my desktop, with a resolution of 1024x768, it pushes the welcome message and stuff really far to the right. But I usually use my laptop so I normally dont notice.. plus theres plenty of room over there for it to get pushed to like 4 lines instead of 2 with a height of 120.
I normally make my banners, no more than 500x200

If anyone was wondering why the Christmas banners are all still up, its just because I havent been at my laptop to FTP the random script back up :P
I was waiting until at least Jan 7th since that is Chibi's Christmas.. so probably later tonight the banners will revert back to the non-holiday ones.
I think you had better keep them up until Chinese New Year's next month.
New Years is not the main holiday theme used here :P

I use paint to make my banners and you must have paint. :P
I like red paint. Especially the red paint in the Nuts advert. I hate the magazine, but the adverts are too funny.
I use photoshop for all my stuff.
I heard that Paint Shop Pro or Fractle Painter are great programs. I don't have them, so I'll stick to Photoshop. XD
Photoshop is definately the best. Back when I used to make 60x60 avis, and sig pics for my own amusement, photoshop was my program of choice. Now, I have nothing... ><(

I have NOTHING. I don't have a computer. I'm using my work comp, and I don't see any of these programs. And as for my mother's computer at her house, I don't think she has anything either.
